Aid to youth
Sheptytsky concentrated his charity on supporting the needs of children and youth. Sheptytsky introduced various forms of help to young people who studied. Thus, underprivileged schoolchildren or students who wanted to study could apply for financial help to the Metropolitan. An interesting example is the help the Metropolitan provided to the young workers of Lviv. Sheptytsky donated a house on Pasichna Street to working youth. In 1930, 55 boys lived in this house. Over time, the seminary received the name "A. Sheptytsky Handicraft and Industrial Seminary." The Metropolitan actively helped the Ukrainian youth organisation "Plast."
